The MULTIGON TCD audio visual educational program was developed by Camilo R. Gomez, M.D., Medical Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Center at the University of Alabama Medical Center Birmingham, Katherine R. Daru, M.D. and Alice Robinson, Vascular Technologist and Emily Incitti. The program includes color slides and full narration on audio cassette and is available in English and Spanish.

Dr. Gomez, a recognized expert in transcranial Doppler and author of many publications on TCD, has carefully selected actual studies that demonstrate normal TCD exam results and a wide variety of pathological conditions seen in the clinical setting. Dr. Gomez has lectured extensively on TCD, and the case studies presented are specifically designed to answer commonly asked questions.
The program is designed to:

  • Aid in the interpretation of normal and abnormal TCD studies
  • Demonstrate the use of TCD in the diagnosis of Vasospasm, intracranial stenosis, brain death and other conditions
